The estate
The estate covers 38 hectares of pine forest in the parish of Artes, Carballo. It is licensed for motor activities, with four fixed circuits spread among the trees and off-road areas. The grill house sits at the centre of that space, far from road and village noise.
It is not a backdrop: it is a working motor estate. The circuits, workshop and vehicles are part of the club daily life. The grill house draws on that same energy, but at its own pace.
The club
La Base Motor Club shares the estate with the grill house: a workshop, a competition shop and facilities devoted to the world of motor sport. Each has its own space and its own entrance, so lunch keeps its own pace even when the club is busy.
The arrival
You arrive by a cobbled path that runs alongside a wall of weathered steel. On one side, water flows down a stone cascade. The La Base emblem is cut into one of the steel panels. Beyond it, the stone grill house appears among the pines.
How to get here
The estate is about 6 km south-east of Carballo centre, in the parish of Artes. It takes roughly 10 minutes from Carballo, 35 minutes from A Coruña via the AG-55, and 50 minutes from Santiago.
